Find I_x in the network.

Solution:

We can figure out I_x by writing Kirchhoff’s current law for the whole circuit loop. (Forgot Kirchhoff’s current law?)

-2I_x+4mA-12mA+I_x+3I_x=0

2I_x=8mA

I_x=4mA
