Find I_1 and I_2 in the network.

Solution:

We will write Kirchhoff’s current law for nodes A and B (which were arbitrarily chosen).  (Forgot Kirchhoff’s current law?)

Node A:

I_1=4mA+8mA

I_1=12mA

Node B:

8mA=2mA+I_2

I_2=6mA
